Osmo Polyx Oil Effect Raw

This Osmo Polyx Oil Effect Raw is a fantastic way to treat your solid oak internal doors, without altering the colour of the timber much at all. Polyx oil is extremely hardwearing and durable, enhancing the protection of your doors and furniture from marks and scratches.

Dry time: 24 hrs, remove white pigments from the surface before leaving to dry

Coverage: 30m²/L with one coat

Recommended amount of coats: 2 coats (or 1, plus top coat of Polyx®-Oil Original)

Application

Apply with a brush or roller

The Osmo wax is ready to use - you don't need to thin it, simply stir it well.

Apply the 1st coat thinly, thoroughly and evenly along the wood grain, removing any surplus immediately. Allow this coat to dry for at least 24 hours, ensuring good ventilation.

Apply the 2nd coat as you did the first - this coat will flow much easier than the first. Again, allow 24 hours for drying and ventilate well.

When the door is thoroughly dry, you may buff or polish by hand or with a machine.

Clean your brushes or rollers using white spirit or benzene-free brush cleaner.
